Active Directory (LDAP) service account

If you have a requirement for Active Directory authentication / binding, please ensure an Active Directory service account exists within your domain with rights to add an object to your desired OU. The following permissions to that OU are required.

Delegated permissions on computer objects for:

  • Create
  • Read
  • Update
  • Delete

Please use the following naming conventions for the service account ensuring the password does not expire. Please ensure the password issued meets your requirements.

  • Username: adsvc
  • Password:
