A key feature of datajar.mobi is the Auto-Update framework, our unique approach to automated software delivery. Auto-Update ensures applications across all your Apple devices are up-to-date and protected against threats, meaning we can provide enterprise class services to organisations of any size. With Auto-Update we can successfully deliver automated installations, updates and uninstallation for a catalogue of more than 700 software titles.
Our datajar.mobi accelerator, is included with a datajar.mobi subscription and is recommended for all deployments. Our accelerator improves network performance and user experience when deploying large software titles. We supply our appliance as a lightweight, Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, CIS hardened VMware or Hyper-V image.

Security and Compliance
datajar.mobi accelerators are based on Ubuntu with Expanded Security Maintenance for Infrastructure (esm-infra) and automatically install security updates released to address known CVEs in alignment with https://ubuntu.com/security/cves. Accelerators check for updates daily and install any available updates from Security origins. If required, accelerators will restart at 7pm.
Accelerators are proactively monitored and managed by Ubuntu Landscape (which includes alerting for issues around checking for/installing security updates). Reports showing current patching compliance against known CVEs are available upon request via a Service Request to dataJAR.
If you need any further details or specific information about your datajar.mobi accelerator, please raise a Service Request with the team!
