Multiple Microsoft Security Updates - 2023-02-17

Microsoft releases a number of updates to patch security vulnerabilities in its products.

These updates correspond to the following Auto-Update for Jamf titles:

  • Microsoft Edge
  • Microsoft Defender
  • Microsoft Office
    • Microsoft Word 2019, 2021 & 365
    • Microsoft Excel 2019, 2021 & 365
    • Microsoft PowerPoint 2019, 2021 & 365
    • Microsoft Outlook 2019, 2021 & 365
    • Microsoft OneNote 2019, 2021 & 365

If you are on our managed service platform datajar.mobi, these updates have been tested and released to all customers with immediate effect, leveraging our Auto-Update framework.

To expedite the rollout of these patches we have reset the usual weekly patch cycle, so all macOS devices that are powered on with an active network connection should receive these patches within the next one to two hours. If you have the application/s open while the respective patch is downloaded, you will be prompted to log out to install this as normal.
