Uninstalling Jamf Auto Update

Jamf Auto Update 1.3+

Starting with Jamf Auto Update 1.3+ you can uninstall Jamf Auto Update via the below. This dynamically removes items, package receipts and unloads any Launch Agents or Daemons as required.

A restart is not needed afterwards, and any software deployed via Jamf Auto Update will remain installed.

/usr/local/munki/autoupdate --uninstall

Prior releases

If you’re running a release of Jamf Auto Update prior to 1.3, please delete the following files and directories from your Mac clients, after which a restart will be needed to complete uninstallation.
