To aid us in troubleshooting your issue further, your systems engineer may request that you provide some log files.
- If you're running Jamf Auto Update 1.3.3+, you can use the command:
/usr/local/munki/autoupdate --collect-logs
. This creates /Users/Shared/Jamf Auto Update Logs/, and copies the below to that directory:- /Library/Managed Installs/Logs/ManagedSoftwareUpdate.log
- /var/log/install.log
- /var/log/jamf.log
- /var/log/JamfAutoUpdate.log

Log file locations
From a computer demonstrating the issue:
- If possible, please reproduce the problem and note the exact date and time it was triggered in the support request.
- Please capture any screenshots of error messages shown, if they occur.
- If it is not possible to reproduce the problem, please provide the closest possible date and time estimate of when it last occurred on that computer.
- Please attach a zip archive of the following files/folders to the support request. Some log files may not exist depending on the version of Jamf Auto Update you have deployed:

- /var/log/JamfAutoUpdate.log
- /var/log/auto-update.log
- /var/log/jamf.log
- /Library/Managed Installs/Logs (please zip this whole folder)
- /var/log/install.log
