Overview
The Logi Options+ installer has install dependencies that must be met in order for a successful install for customers using Auto-Update. This article outlines these dependencies and requirements.
Requirements
For a successful install of Logi Options+ there must be a user logged in while the installer is running.
On assessing whether Auto-Update can start the install, it will check to see if there is a user logged in and if there is it will then proceed with the installation.
If you see an error similar to this
The install failed. (The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. An error occurred while running scripts from the package “LogiOptionsPlus-1.60.0.496306.pkg”.)
Install of LogiOptionsPlus-1.60.0.496306.pkg failed with return code 1
It's likely a user was logged in as the install started, but then logged out before it could finish.
No further install attempts will be made by Auto-Update until a user next logs in.
